In 2016 I followed a Google Street View car in Brooklyn and posed for its camera, documenting the encounter with my own photographs. When the images appeared online, my body had been blurred out or removed. The work pairs my photos with updated Street View screenshots to show how commercial mapping systems decide who is visible, who is hidden, and how easily a person can be edited out of the urban record
